OUR SOLUTIONS TO PREVENT THE LITTLE PILLS THAT CAN FORM DURING YOUR BEAUTY ROUTINE
There are several potential causes behind these little pills that can form during your routine. This usually happens when you layer several products (possibly in excessive amounts or too quickly) and the different formulations come into contact with one another, eventually clumping together and forming small balls, which is unpleasant. Beyond that, it can reduce the effectiveness of your products and may be a sign that you are not using your routine products correctly. Here are a few easy ways to fix it.
THE 5 CAUSES OF A CREAM THAT PILLS
APPLY SKINCARE IN THE RIGHT ORDER
Your products may be pilling because you are applying them in the wrong order. Products should be applied according to their molecular weight: from the lowest to the highest. So you should start with toner, then a water-based serum, followed by moisturizer, then SPF or an oil in the evening. Lightweight water-based products absorb more quickly and more deeply into the skin. Moisturizers and oils are designed to form a protective layer on the skin’s surface. You therefore need to make sure the lighter layers have fully absorbed before applying the upper layers.

CHOOSE SKINCARE FROM THE SAME BRAND
Odacité, Agent Nateur... To avoid texture incompatibilities that can occur when layering products from different brands. Likewise, keep your morning routine simple. A serum with Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid along with a hydrating SPF is often enough for a morning routine. We recommend moisturizers only for dry skin or if you live in a dry climate. This will help prevent your SPF from conflicting with your moisturizer.

TAKE YOUR TIME WHEN LAYERING PRODUCTS
In the morning, we are in a rush… but you will lose less time by letting your products sit for a moment before applying another one than by having to remove the little balls. Wait about one minute between layers to give the product enough time to absorb properly. You can use that time to perform a lymphatic massage.
APPLY THIN LAYERS
Also use only the necessary amount of product, as too much product can leave residue because the skin is not able to absorb it. The only exception is sunscreen, which must be applied generously enough to protect the skin properly.
EXFOLIATE, BUT NOT TOO MUCH
Not exfoliating your skin also plays a role in how products penetrate it. If too many dead skin cells remain on the surface of the skin, they will act as a barrier to product absorption. Choose exfoliation with gentle acids such as lactic acid and/or an exfoliating mask 1 to 2 times a week maximum. Be careful with over-exfoliation, which can damage your skin barrier.
