Chronic inflammation, or "inflammation," prevents the skin from absorbing nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants...
As a skincare expert, I am constantly searching for solutions to help my clients preserve the youthfulness and radiance of their skin. Identifying the skin's enemies that accelerate premature aging and finding solutions to prevent and repair them are part of my daily work.
Among the enemies of the skin are the sun, stress, lack of sleep... but one of the key factors in premature skin aging is inflammation, a process often overlooked but essential to understand in order to maintain healthy, radiant skin.
LINK BETWEEN INFLAMMATION & PREMATURE AGING
Inflammation is a natural response of our body to an attack, such as an injury, infection, or environmental stress. While inflammation is an essential defense mechanism, chronic or repeated inflammation can lead to long-term damage to our skin, thus accelerating the aging process.
Several factors can contribute to skin inflammation, including UV exposure, pollution, stress, smoking, and an unbalanced diet. These factors trigger the production of free radicals, unstable molecules that damage skin cells and the collagen and elastin fibers responsible for skin firmness and elasticity.
Inflammation can also lead to skin sensitivity and fragility, acne, rosacea, and blemishes. First and foremost, if you want to address a skin problem, start by reducing inflammation both internally and externally.
HOW TO FIGHT SKIN INFLAMMATION
To combat skin inflammation and prevent premature aging, it's essential to adopt a suitable skincare routine composed of natural products rich in antioxidants. Here are some of my favorite products from Bazar Bio to fight inflammation and preserve your skin's youthfulness:
A SERUM RICH IN HYALURONIC ACID AND VITAMIN C
Use a serum every morning that combines these two key ingredients to combat skin aging. Hyaluronic acid hydrates and plumps the skin, while vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant, neutralizes free radicals and stimulates collagen production.
- Derm-Restore Super Serum - ODACITÉ
- Holi (Trinity) - NATIONAL AGENT
- Brightening Serum - Vitamin C & E + Hyaluronic Acid - ODACITÉ
ANTI-INFLAMMATORY INGREDIENTS
CBD, blue chamomile, squalane, hemp oil, ceramides, probiotics… nature offers us a multitude of powerful anti-inflammatory options.

- Blue Balm Repairing Balm with Blue Chamomile and Shea Butter - ODACITÉ
- Pressed serum with Siberian pineapple - GRESSA SKIN
ADOPT A HOLISTIC APPROACH
For a holistic approach to beauty, treat your skin from the inside out. Diet plays a key role in reducing inflammation in the body. Moringa helps nourish and strengthen the skin while combating the harmful effects of oxidative stress. Turmeric is also an excellent choice for its powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
RELIEVE STRESS
Chronic stress can contribute to inflammation and premature skin aging. Practice relaxation techniques, such as meditation, yoga, or deep breathing, to learn how to manage your daily stress and lower cortisol and adrenaline levels, which promote inflammation.
SLEEP ENOUGH
Restful sleep is essential for cell regeneration and reducing inflammation. Aim for 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night and adopt a regular bedtime routine to promote quality sleep.
PROTECT YOUR SKIN FROM UV RAYS
UV rays are a major cause of skin inflammation and premature aging. Use broad-spectrum sunscreen daily and wear protective clothing during prolonged sun exposure.
GENTLY CLEAN & EXFOLIATE
Use gentle cleansers and natural exfoliants to remove impurities and dead skin cells without irritating the skin. Regular cleansing and exfoliation help maintain healthy, radiant skin.
