10 GOOD RESOLUTIONS FOR HEALTHY, RADIANT SKIN. WE'LL GIVE YOU THE BEST PRACTICES.
DAILY ROUTINE
1. ALL SKIN TYPES NEED TO BE HYDRATED, EVEN THE OILIEST SKIN
It's often mistakenly believed that oily skin shouldn't be over-moisturized in order to get rid of excess sebum. However, hydration and nourishment are not the same thing. When your skin is dehydrated, it lacks water and naturally produces more sebum, and therefore more oil, to compensate. Choosing a suitable, non-greasy moisturizer is an essential step in your efforts. All skin types should use moisturizers that strengthen the skin barrier and contain anti-inflammatory ingredients to maintain clear, shine-free skin.
2. If you have dry skin during the day, you need to change your evening routine.
It's at night that the skin regenerates. During the day, it simply needs to be hydrated and protected from the sun, pollution, etc. If your evening routine is well-structured (cleansing, treatment serum, and repairing balm), your skin will be balanced for the following day.

• The Balm - SOAPWALLA
3. SKIN SHOULD NEVER REMAIN DRY AND BARE
After cleansing and drying, it's important to move quickly to the next steps to prevent your skin from becoming dehydrated. However, leave at least one minute between each subsequent skincare step to allow each product to fully absorb into the skin. Apply a toner between each step to enhance product absorption.
• Holi (Water) - SWIMMING AGENT
• Cocoon Dew - GENTLERIST
4. The best water temperature for washing your face is lukewarm.
Hot water should be avoided at all costs as it damages the skin's barrier by breaking down the hydrolipidic film, dehydrating the skin and dilating blood vessels. Cold water is not effective for cleansing because the cold causes pores to contract, trapping impurities, bacteria, and sebum, leading to blemishes. However, cold water does have some very beneficial properties for the skin, such as soothing irritations, reducing swelling, and improving blood circulation. We therefore recommend splashing your face with cold water after cleansing it with lukewarm water.
• Algae and Enzyme Cleansing Oil - MARA
5. DO NOT EXFOLIATE YOUR SKIN TOO MUCH
Do not exfoliate your skin more than 1-2 times a week. Daily exfoliation is unnecessary and can damage the skin barrier, leading to redness, irritation, and breakouts. Exfoliate your skin only 1-2 times a week to reap all the benefits: a radiant complexion, refined skin texture, and a resurfaced appearance.

6. Stay hydrated and protect yourself daily
Every day, be sure to moisturize your skin according to its needs and protect it from UV rays by applying SPF, regardless of the weather. Whatever the season, it's essential to wear SPF to prevent skin aging and protect the skin barrier. The sun is the skin's number one enemy. It damages the skin barrier and causes premature aging. Daily protection is essential; this cannot be stressed enough!
Don't neglect your neck and décolletage. This area should be treated with as much care as your face. Cleanse, moisturize, and protect it in the same way.
Our selection of natural and organic SPF will protect your skin while providing lasting hydration throughout the day. Formulas based on hyaluronic acid, sunflower oil, or highly moisturizing glacial water.
- Mineral Drops - Transparent Sunscreen SPF 50 - Niacinamide + Green Tea - ODACITY
- Impeccable Skin - SUNTEGRITY
7. NOT WASHING YOUR FACE IN THE MORNING
Not washing your face in the morning is good for maintaining a balanced skin barrier. However, washing your face in the evening is essential for healthy skin and as a first step in your anti-aging routine. At night, the skin releases beneficial natural oils that you don't want to remove in the morning with cleansing. If you still wish to get rid of the toxins accumulated overnight, you can use a few drops of micellar water or simply spritz your face with water or a floral mist. On the other hand, it is absolutely essential to remove makeup and cleanse your face every night. Don't hesitate to remove your makeup as soon as you get home to rid your skin of impurities that clog pores. This also allows your skincare products time to be properly absorbed by your skin, rather than by your pillow.
8. Use antioxidant ingredients in the morning and retinol in the evening.
Vitamin C is our preferred ingredient to apply in the morning because it provides protective and anti-aging antioxidants. It smooths skin texture and addresses signs of aging. The antioxidants help protect the skin throughout the day.
Retinol helps activate cell renewal, allowing new cells to grow more quickly. Since skin naturally regenerates overnight, retinol is the best active ingredient to apply in the evening.

9. MAXIMIZE YOUR BEAUTY AT NIGHT
You might think the concept of "restorative sleep" is a myth, but research published in the British Medical Journal has actually shown that people who get enough sleep (around eight hours a night) have healthier skin. Sleep is the only way to repair the skin and nervous system. It's at night that the skin regenerates, so aim for 7 to 9 hours of sleep each night.
To optimize your sleep and therefore the beauty of your skin, be sure to remove your makeup thoroughly before going to bed. Sleeping with makeup on can lead to clogged pores, skin congestion, and eye irritation. Opt for a careful double cleansing routine using a cleansing oil or balm, followed by a cleanser suited to your skin type.
The cleansing oil will "trap" the pollution residue, SPF, etc., accumulated throughout the day, while the cleanser will gently complete the cleansing process. Our cleansers are so rich in active ingredients that we recommend leaving them on for 2 to 5 minutes to fully benefit from their properties. Then, adopt a "skin cycling" nighttime routine to maximize your skin's renewal while you sleep.
BEAUTY FROM WITHIN
10. TAKE COLLAGEN
Starting a collagen regimen from the age of 25 is one of our key recommendations. From this age, the collagen level in tissues begins to decline, which is why you will need to supplement with collagen every day without fail to compensate for this loss and maintain healthy, plump, and smooth skin.
The first results of a collagen treatment appear after about three weeks, which is why you need to be diligent in taking it if you want to see significant results for the quality of your skin, hair, and nails. It's a step to incorporate into your long-term beauty routine! The secret is consistency, and it makes all the difference! For example, the results of taking Marine Collagen fade after just two weeks of stopping.
