DISCOVER THE ANTI-AGING, BRIGHTENING, SOOTHING AND ANTIBACTERIAL POWERS OF LED PHOTOMODULATION

WHAT IS LED PHOTOMODULATION

The invention of LED masks has marked a turning point in the beauty industry! It's the new secret to giving a radiant glow, eliminating acne, or boosting your collagen.

The use of light for therapeutic purposes dates back thousands of years. In ancient Egypt, special temples were built to heal using sunlight and colored light. More recently, red light has attracted the interest of NASA, which harnessed its power in the late 1980s to grow plants in space. Scientists have also discovered that using red light on astronauts' wounds healed much faster.

HOW LED LIGHT THERAPY WORKS

HOW DOES IT WORK?

LED photomodulation is a non-invasive treatment that involves exposing the skin to different wavelengths of light, each with a distinct effect (depending on its color), to trigger natural cellular repair and rejuvenation processes. The skin uses light as an energy source to power the repair and rejuvenation of damaged cells or, in the case of acne treatment, to kill bacteria. The energy stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, improves circulation, and accelerates tissue repair.

The light rays emitted by LEDs have anti-aging, brightening, soothing, and antibacterial properties on our skin. They are therefore recommended for rejuvenation, sun damage, radiance, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, sensitivity, inflammation, and wound healing.

Depending on the wavelength and spectrum of these rays, various colored lights are produced, each offering different benefits for the skin. They penetrate the skin to varying depths depending on the desired result. With regular use, LEDs offer lasting results, but you may notice a difference after just one session.

THE DIFFERENT COLORS OF LIGHT AND THEIR BENEFITS

WHAT ARE THE EFFECTS ON MY SKIN?

During LED therapy, the devices deliver cold light waves deep into the skin to trigger natural intracellular reactions. Each type of light has a different wavelength and performs a specific function on the skin. The best known and most widely used are red light and near-infrared light. Exposure to these rays can boost the activity of fibroblasts (the supporting fibers located in the deeper layers of the skin) to promote collagen production and activate skin healing.

THE RED LIGHT

It stimulates collagen production, reduces wrinkles and fine lines, combats inflammation and redness, improves circulation, and thus makes the skin healthier and more radiant. It also increases hydration levels and is a treatment for rosacea.

INFRARED LIGHT

White in color, this is the wavelength that is absorbed most deeply. It regenerates cells in the dermis and epidermis and smooths wrinkles. It is used to regenerate the skin and accelerate the healing of skin lesions. It is recommended for cystic acne.

THE BLUE LIGHT

Antibacterial, it is ideal for people with acne-prone skin, as it kills acne-causing bacteria and also targets overactive sebaceous glands which lead to an overproduction of sebum.

THE VIOLET LIGHT

It combines red and blue light to form a powerful duo that fights acne and signs of aging, while reducing inflammation, scars and sagging skin.

THE AMBER LIGHT

Excellent for sensitive skin, it helps reduce problems such as redness (rosacea) and inflammation. It also stimulates lymphatic drainage and helps the skin regain a natural, healthy glow.

THE GREEN LIGHT

It reduces hyperpigmentation spots.

LED TOOLS AND HOW TO USE THEM

HOW TO USE YOUR LED MASK?

For at-home LED masks, the skin must be clean and makeup-free. LED masks allow you to benefit from this treatment while maintaining freedom of movement, as they operate autonomously. You can use your mask 3 to 5 times a week for 10 minutes on clean, dry skin. Completely painless and without side effects, the LED mask can be used in all seasons and on all skin types.

Contraindications: LED phototherapy is not recommended in cases of photo-allergy, skin cancer, thyroid problems, or epilepsy. The treatment should also be avoided if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
