During the day, we protect our skin from external aggressors (pollution, stress, UV rays, etc.). The primary function of the skincare products we apply in the morning should therefore be protection. In the evening, we help it regenerate. It's while we sleep that the skin initiates its cell renewal and repair processes. Hence the importance of good sleep. With this in mind, we can quickly conclude that the evening routine should be different from the morning one!
THE MORNING
We apply light but protective skincare products. Antioxidant + UV protection. While we sleep, the skin renews itself and rebuilds its natural protective barrier. During the night, the skin is not exposed to pollutants or dirt. On the contrary, it is perfectly cleansed and nourished thanks to the evening routine. It therefore has all night to benefit from these treatments and to repair itself naturally.
Ideally, you should simply wake up your skin in the morning with a toner, not cleanse it. An exception: oily, blemish-prone skin that produces too much sebum overnight and needs to be removed.
STEP 1: TONIC
Rich in hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate the skin. Apply to the face by gently patting to prevent evaporation.
STEP 2: TREATMENT SERUM
Apply to slightly damp skin to aid absorption. Vitamin C is our preferred ingredient because it provides protective and anti-aging antioxidants. It smooths skin texture and addresses signs of aging. You can apply the serum using a Gua Sha tool to reduce puffiness.
STEP 3: EYE CONTOUR BALM OR GEL
Choose a texture that smooths the skin and serves as a makeup base.
STEP 4: DAY CREAM
To protect the skin and prevent dehydration. Depending on your skin type, the texture of the cream will change. For dry skin, a thick cream; for oily skin, a light gel-cream.
STEP 5: SPF
Essential regardless of the day of the year to protect the skin barrier and the destruction of collagen caused by UV rays.
SUPERFOOD
To care for the skin from within: complete antioxidant and alkalizing blends rich in vitamins and minerals.
THE EVENING
We help the skin to renew and repair itself.
STEP 1: DOUBLE CLEANING.
Thoroughly removing makeup and all traces of pollution and makeup allows the skin to renew itself without hindrance. This is one of the secrets to radiant skin upon waking. A simple cleanse isn't enough. We recommend removing makeup with an oil or micellar water, then using a cleanser suited to your skin type to complete the cleansing process.
STEP 2: TONIC
The toner will rebalance your skin's pH and hydrate it. We recommend choosing toners with a light exfoliating effect.
STEP 3: RETINOL
Our favorite active ingredient. It helps the skin renew itself faster. It addresses all skin concerns.
STEP 4: EYE CONTOUR CARE
Not too thick if you tend to get pockets.
STEP 5: A BALM
Finally, a balm is applied that will repair the skin barrier and retain moisture overnight, as the skin tends to become dehydrated.
MASK
Once or twice a week, apply a regenerating mask and leave it on overnight.
