AN ESSENTIAL STEP IN YOUR EVENING ROUTINE TO WAKE UP WITH BEAUTIFUL SKIN...
Wipes, micellar water, and cleansers alone are not enough to remove the residue that accumulates on our face every day. Double cleansing is a key step in an evening routine that should never be skipped.
THE PROCESS
Double cleansing involves first washing the face with an oil-based cleanser, which emulsifies dirt, sebum, SPF, and makeup. Once this top layer of impurities is removed, a water-based cleanser with AHAs is used to deeply cleanse pores, refine skin texture, fight acne, and boost collagen production.
"Without this two-step process, you risk layering your precious skincare products on top of leftover foundation, sebum, and toxins. Not only will your routine be less effective, but your skin is likely to be even more damaged. Going to bed without properly washing your face can hinder cell regeneration and lead to premature aging."

Beautiful skin upon waking begins the night before with a double cleanse to rid the skin of anything that could hinder cell renewal overnight. Skin needs to regenerate during the night, so it's essential that it's completely free of impurities. This allows it to better absorb the skincare products applied in the evening, which can then work throughout the night. An effective double cleanse will result in brighter skin, reduce signs of aging, diminish imperfections, and allow for better penetration of the active ingredients you apply afterward.
As you've probably gathered, double cleansing is an essential part of your nighttime routine. It's not just about cleansing, but the first step in your routine. Cleansers contain so many active ingredients that they can be left on like a mask.
STEP 1: CLEANSING OIL
Begin by massaging the oil directly onto dry skin. This will gently remove makeup, dissolving SPF, pollution, excess sebum, and dead skin cells. Massage for 1 to 2 minutes using a lymphatic drainage technique. Rinse with lukewarm water and then gently pat your face dry.
STEP 2: THE CLEANER
Next, apply the cleanser, paying particular attention to the sides of your nose. This will deeply cleanse your pores and gently exfoliate your skin. Massage for as long as you like. You can even leave the cleanser on like a mask while you shower, for example. Rinse with lukewarm water and then gently pat your face dry. Immediately apply a toner, as you should never leave your skin bare to prevent dehydration.
