ANTIPERSPIRANT vs DEODORANT
Natural deodorants won't stop you from sweating. Natural formulas don't contain aluminum, the ingredient that clogs sweat glands and blocks perspiration. Sweating is a natural and essential health mechanism that regulates body temperature and eliminates toxins. Sweat itself is odorless; it's the proliferation of bacteria that causes unpleasant smells. Unlike antiperspirants, deodorants contain antibacterial substances that prevent odor-causing bacteria from multiplying. They also contain essential oils to mask odors and powders (such as clay or baking soda) to absorb moisture.
That is why we advise using deodorants, natural ones of course, and not antiperspirants.
COMPONENTS TO AVOID
Some ingredients commonly found in conventional deodorants are carcinogenic and endocrine disruptors, which are harmful to health. The organic deodorants at Bazar Bio do not contain these ingredients:
- Propylparaben, a paraben used as a preservative
- Cyclopentasiloxane, a silicone derivative
- Phenoxyethanol, a preservative
- Methylparaben, paraben
- Aluminum salts that block perspiration; this process is very bad for the body. Aluminum chloride is carcinogenic and a dangerous endocrine disruptor.

Natural deodorant is very economical; in jar or stick form, it lasts a long time. Only one application per day is necessary. A very small amount is enough to be protected all day long.
