Agent Nateur Holi C: The Vitamin C Powder That Transforms Your Skin

Agent Nateur Holi C : la vitamine C en poudre qui transforme la peau

Why this vitamin C is so effective against acne

Vitamin C is the most overrated skincare ingredient, and yet most formulas you use are unstable, derived from GMO corn, and too acidic for your skin. Agent Nateur took a different approach. Holi C is an active vitamin C powder to be diluted, formulated with a patented form developed in France, non-GMO, and sourced from Japan and France. A raw concentrate, with no fillers, no compromises. Here’s why it’s one of the rare vitamin C formulas that truly deserves a place in your routine.

Why most vitamin C serums don’t work

Almost all vitamin C serums on the market use ascorbic acid (L-Ascorbic Acid). Two major issues:

Instability. Ascorbic acid oxidizes quickly when exposed to air and light. That yellow-orange bottle sitting in your bathroom? It has very likely lost part of its effectiveness before you even finished it.

Irritation. Ascorbic acid requires a very low pH to penetrate the skin. The result: tingling, redness, breakouts for sensitive or reactive skin types.

Agent Nateur chose a different formula.

Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate: the vitamin C that actually works

Holi C is formulated with Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (SAP), a stable and water-soluble form of vitamin C. Here’s what sets it apart:

Non-GMO, rigorous sourcing. Almost all ascorbic acid on the market is derived from GMO corn. Agent Nateur sources its SAP exclusively from Japan and France, two countries with some of the strictest cosmetic regulations in the world.

Stable. SAP does not oxidize. It does not go rancid within a few months. Its active lifespan is significantly longer than that of ascorbic acid.

More bioavailable. Derived from a salt molecule, SAP penetrates the lipid barrier of the epidermis without requiring an aggressive pH. The skin absorbs it better, without irritation.

Effective at low concentration. Most brands only include 1 to 5% vitamin C in their formulas. One bottle of Holi C could theoretically formulate up to 100 bottles of serum at this dosage, which shows just how concentrated the product is.

Proven benefits of SAP

Anti-aging

UVA and UVB radiation accelerate skin aging through oxidative stress. SAP neutralizes free radicals, protects against UV damage, and enhances the effectiveness of your SPF. It acts as a photoprotection booster.

Dark spots & radiance

SAP inhibits melanin production, the pigment responsible for dark spots and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. With regular use, it evens out the complexion and restores radiance.

Anti-acne (the most underestimated benefit)

This is where Holi C truly stands out. In vitro studies have shown that SAP has powerful antimicrobial properties against acne-causing bacteria. Used over 12 weeks, it produced excellent results in 76.9% of patients, a rate higher than many prescribed treatments, without side effects.

The mechanism: lipid peroxidation (oxidation of sebum) is one of the main drivers of acne. SAP reduces this sebum oxidation by up to 40%.

"Lipid peroxidation is the driving force behind the progression of comedogenesis and inflammation in acne." Agent Nateur

Holi C is therefore relevant for both mature skin looking to smooth and brighten, and acne-prone or combination skin seeking to regulate sebum without irritation.

How to use Holi C

The powder is activated with water. That’s the fundamental principle: you formulate it yourself at the moment of application.

Protocol :

1. Pour a rice grain-sized amount of powder into the palm of your hand

2. Mix with an equal amount of water or with Holi (water)

3. Then apply your usual serum, moisturizer, or SPF

4. Apply morning and/or evening, after cleansing

No unnecessary preservatives. No premature oxidation. You activate the exact dose you need, when you need it.

What to pair Holi C with?

Holi C is designed to fit into any routine. To fully unlock its potential, it pairs perfectly with Holi (Water). To learn more about this combination, read our article on mastering the art of HoliGlow.

Evening : Activated Holi C mixed with your repairing serum or facial oil. Nighttime cellular regeneration is enhanced by the antioxidant boost.

Acne-prone skin : pair Holi C with a lightweight, non-comedogenic treatment. SAP regulates oxidized sebum, targets inflammation, and preps the skin without disrupting its balance.

FAQ - Most frequently asked questions about Agent Nateur Holi (c)

What is the difference between Holi C and a traditional vitamin C serum?
Holi C is a pure Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (SAP) powder activated with water, whereas a traditional serum incorporates vitamin C into a pre-formulated base. SAP is more stable than ascorbic acid, does not oxidize before use, and is less irritating. In addition, the concentration in Holi C is significantly higher than in most serums on the market.
Is Holi C suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. SAP does not require an acidic environment to be active, unlike ascorbic acid. It is not associated with the tingling or redness often caused by traditional vitamin C serums. It is one of the few forms of vitamin C tolerated by reactive skin.
Can Holi C be used morning and evening?
Yes. Agent Nateur recommends using it AM and/or PM after cleansing. In the morning, it enhances the protective effect of SPF. In the evening, it supports cellular regeneration. Both uses are complementary.
How long does one bottle last?
Holi C is extremely concentrated: a small amount per application is enough. With daily use, it lasts several months. The powder remains stable for a long time without oxidizing, unlike traditional liquid serums.
Is Holi C safe during pregnancy?
Topical vitamin C is generally well tolerated. However, as with any cosmetic product, we recommend consulting your doctor or midwife before introducing it during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Where can you buy Holi C in France?
Holi C is available on Superskin, the official distributor of Agent Nateur in France and Europe. You can find the Holi C Duo Vitamin C + Calcium directly on the store.
