THE DIFFERENT BENEFITS OF YOUR MORNING DRINK FOR YOUR SKIN AND YOUR BODY.

MATCHA

Having become globally popular in recent years, matcha is a bright, almost fluorescent green tea made by grinding shade-grown green tea leaves into a fine powder. This vivid green powdered tea, thanks to its high chlorophyll content, offers unrivaled health and skin benefits.

The caffeine content of matcha is on average slightly lower than that of coffee. A 250 ml cup of matcha contains between 50 and 70 ml of caffeine. As matcha is alkaline with a pH of around 9, people with sensitive stomachs should therefore prefer it to coffee. It also protects our teeth and supports oral health.

Matcha is one of the highest natural sources of antioxidants on the planet, which helps stabilize blood sugar levels and relieve stress on our adrenal glands. It contains the beneficial amino acid theanine and the polyphenol EGCG, both of which have many protective and regenerative effects on the body. Regular matcha consumption has been shown to fight hormonal acne and protect against damage caused by the sun, pollution, and environmental stress, resulting in clearer, more radiant skin. Its antioxidant properties also help oxygenate cells and support their proper renewal. Drinking matcha also helps preserve skin elasticity.

When applied topically, in the form of a mask, it helps reduce inflammation, redness, and excess sebum. It is therefore an excellent anti-acne mask.

COFFEE

A 250 ml cup of coffee contains around 100 ml of caffeine. Coffee, like matcha, is associated with greater longevity, good heart health, and cognitive support. Rich in antioxidants, coffee helps neutralize free radicals and fade wrinkles and fine lines, while also helping protect your skin from sun damage.

HERBAL TEA (OR INFUSION)

This term is used to describe the preparation obtained by pouring hot water over plants. It includes all caffeine-free infusions and thus distinguishes them from tea and maté. Herbal teas and infusions therefore contain no caffeine, no acids, and are thus very easy to digest. Each herbal tea or infusion offers many benefits.

Drinking herbal teas helps improve the hydration of your skin and your body in general, restoring tone and radiance. They help detoxify your skin from within and achieve healthier skin. They contain no caffeine and are easy to digest. Choose the ingredients according to your concerns. Marshmallow or eleuthero for reactive or irritated skin, or nettle to regulate sebum production in oily skin.

COCOA

Contrary to popular belief, cocoa contributes to good skin health thanks to vitamin E combined with flavonoids. It is good for the skin because it is rich in antioxidants. Thanks to its high concentration of polyphenols, it helps prevent the signs of skin aging by neutralizing free radicals and stimulating collagen production. They also improve tissue hydration, the complexion’s radiance, and support healing.
