Skin Cycling

YOU WON'T RECOGNIZE YOUR SKIN IN JUST ONE WEEK!

At Bazar Bio, we've been recommending for several years now that you alternate the application of active ingredients in the evening: acid / retinol / repairing balm. This evening routine has become a new trend on social media: Skin cycling.

More than just a trend, this technique delivers a true "glass skin" effect. The skin is transformed, becoming brighter and more even-toned. We explain everything about this ideal evening routine in this special feature.

WHAT IS SKIN CYCLING?

The Skin Cycling technique involves focusing on the action of a single ingredient over a three-night cycle. Rather than applying multiple products and layering ingredients, which can create a harmful cocktail for your skin, Skin Cycling advocates a return to basics: effective ingredients used methodically to maximize their benefits. This method also helps to maintain the skin barrier, which is essential for healthy skin.

This three-night rotating evening routine alternates the use of active ingredients with periods of rest and skin recovery. Each night, a different product is used on its own for maximum effectiveness. In addition to renewing the skin, this method allows you to fully benefit from the properties of several active ingredients.

However, be aware that the success of Skin Cycling lies once again in consistency!

THE STEPS

DAY 1: EXFOLIATION (Fruit Acids, Enzymes)

Using acids the first night prepares the skin for the following night's treatment by removing dead skin cells. The acids will exfoliate and retexturize the skin. The appearance of pores and wrinkles will be improved. To prevent your serum from evaporating and to allow it to be more effective, apply a moisturizer or a CBD-based oil afterward to protect your skin barrier.

DAY 2: RETINOL-BASED TREATMENT

After thoroughly cleansing your face, apply a retinol-based treatment. Retinol is the best anti-aging active ingredient because it encourages cell renewal and collagen production. It therefore reduces wrinkles and fine lines, age spots, and blemishes. Retinol removes dead skin cells more quickly, making way for new ones. Skin is more radiant upon waking. As with acids, follow with the application of a moisturizer or oil.

DAY 3: RECOVERY AND REGENERATION

Repair and hydrate the skin barrier. Allow the skin time to fully absorb the various ingredients and regenerate. This also encourages it to renew itself without the aid of an active ingredient, so it doesn't become dependent on your skincare products.
