Your most frequently asked questions about this product

Is Hello Tomato Water-Based Nail Polish suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, Hello Tomato Water-Based Nail Polish has been specifically designed for hypersensitive skin. Its water-based formula eliminates all common irritants found in traditional polishes, including ethyl acetate and butyl acetate. The brand's founder, Sylvia Santosa, suffered from severe skin reactions to classic polishes herself, which drove her to create this revolutionary alternative. The polish is completely odorless and emits no harmful fumes, making it ideal for people suffering from asthma or respiratory allergies.

How do I use Hello Tomato Water-Based Nail Polish?

Start by filing and buffing your nails to achieve a perfectly smooth surface. Shake the bottle well, then apply a thin first coat and wait one minute. Repeat the process once or twice depending on the desired coverage. The small fan brush allows for precise application right to the edges. Finish with a layer of Glossy Coat and let dry for five minutes. For optimal wear of up to five flawless days, we advise waiting one hour before any contact with water and sealing the nail edges well during application.

Is Hello Tomato Water-Based Nail Polish vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes, Hello Tomato Water-Based Nail Polish is 100% vegan and cruelty-free. All pigments used are of mineral origin and never derived from animals. Unlike some polishes that contain guanine from fish scales or carmine made from cochineal beetles, Hello Tomato exclusively uses non-toxic pigments of safe synthetic origin. The brand never tests its products on animals and is fully committed to an ethical and life-respecting approach, while offering vibrant and lasting colors.

How do I remove Hello Tomato Water-Based Nail Polish?

Hello Tomato Water-Based Nail Polish is easily removed without acetone. You can use 70% isopropyl alcohol or the Hello Tomato Remover Gel specially formulated for this range. Simply apply the product to the nail, let it sit for thirty seconds, then press firmly with a cotton pad to remove the polish. This gentle removal method preserves the health of your nails and avoids the drying effects caused by acetone. However, be cautious with alcohol-based hand sanitizers, which can gradually dissolve the polish.
